The Tissue-Tek

Cold Plate provides an easy way to cool

blocks before sectioning. Just cool the plates in an ordinary

freezer and take them out when there is a need for cooling

blocks. The plates will stay cold for a long period, due to

insulated bases.

The Sakura Water Bath & Hot Plate provide a simple and

secure way of stretching paraffin sections as required in

histological, pathological, bacteriological and chemical

laboratories. It also provides optimal drying on the wide,

heated preparation area. The working temperature can be

adjusted from room temperature up to 80°C. However, in

order to avoid damaging your valuable biopsy specimen,

the temperature should not exceed 60°C.
